I’ve been blogging for 15 years now, and have covered a variety of different topics over the years. What started as an online diary of sorts back in 2003, became a shiny online magazine filled with articles on fashion, feminism, sex and relationships, before slowly turning into a place for me to write about things/places I like. The thing is… I’m not sure if I want this space to be a reviews blog. I’m not really sure what I want it to be any more.
Recently I’ve been feeling less inspired to write – which is not helped by the fact that my most popular posts are always ones I wrote 6 years ago on a topic I no longer want to cover* – and so I have signed up for an online course to help find my blogging mojo again. What do I want to write about and why? Hopefully this course will help me get to the bottom of that. One of the things it has suggested so far is asking readers what they like about my blog and what other content they like to read so, if you have a few minutes to spare, please take the short survey below.

Thanks in advance for your help. Is this the beginning of the end for Rarely Wears Lipstick, or simply a hint of new beginnings? I’m going to try and use this month to work out which and, after a belated and highly anticipated honeymoon in January, will make plans to wrap up or relaunch on my blog’s 16th birthday in March 2019.
*Unsurprisingly, sex toy reviews are something many people search for and find my blog via. I’m not really up for going down that route again though, despite one of the posts I was most proud of this year getting a measly 51 views compared to 5.5k views (in 2018) for a sex toy post I wrote back in 2012.
