I’ve not been doing as much blogging as I’d have liked over the last few months, but that’s not because I’ve had little to say or had nothing going on. There’s been plenty happening in my life.
I’ve done a short course in creative writing, been to a menswear symposium at the V&A, submitted an article to Selvedge magazine, done more bra research for The Underpinnings Museum, heard Grayson Perry speak about masculinities at LCF, and I visited the M&S Archive again (this time, for work!). In addition, I’ve been doing a lot of writing and have also had some lovely and much needed down time over drinks with friends and colleagues, putting the world to rights and playing daft card games.
Over the next few months, I’ve decided to take a fresh look at this blog. I’ll go through old posts to see what I’ve written about and if anything warrants re-sharing. I’ll look for inspiration for new posts, maybe recategorise a few things. Perhaps I’ll even look for some guest bloggers to write on particular topics? I feel a rush of new post-Easter writing energy and need to make the most of it, but planning is key. Also, doing a few things which warrant writing about will help.
This weekend sees the first Brunch Club gathering in a while, so there will be a new review to share soon, plus I’m visiting the London Transport Museum’s Acton Depot so will have lots of photos to share on Instagram. Follow me there – I’m @lipsticklori, naturally – to keep up with my daily adventures. On my blog and social media I’ll share outfits, events, reviews, fab fashion finds, luscious lingerie and, of course, my thoughts on life, the universe and everything.
