This month’s Lust List was initially inspired by the colder weather and the Danish concept of hygge. However, if you have central heating, you don’t need woolly jumpers to be comfy and cozy at home, as this stunning selection of loungewear illustrates. I really was spoiled for choice putting this list together!
1) Blackbird Underpinnings ‘Sylvia’ lounge pants
I loved the Maven collection from Blackbird Underpinnings – beautiful classic styles named after prominent women – so I was thrilled to discover that they’ve added a lovely silk charmeuse chemise and lounge pants, both in black and champagne, to the line up. Pair the pants with the Marlene camisole (see image on the right) for a pyjama set worthy of a movie set.
2) Harlow & Fox ‘Eleanor Indigo’ silk and lace kimono
The luxury full bust lingerie of Harlow & Fox has been on my fantasy wish list since their first collection, but their recently released Eleanor Indigo range is just mesmerising. Made of smooth dark blue silk with the sleeves and hem finished in delicate Leavers lace, this short kimono style dressing gown is clearly the definition of luxury. As anyone who’s ever wrapped a silk scarf around their neck will know, this luxury fabric is warmer than you expect so it’s actually quite a sensible winter choice. (It might sound like I’m talking nonsense, but I’ve tried on the Augusta Scarlet fringed kimono and the double layer of silk made me feel like a very cozy film star!)
3) Kiss Me Deadly ‘Leonie’ gown and robe
Every femme fatale’s favourite lingerie and swimwear brand, Kiss Me Deadly, have a Kickstarter campaign running to fund their next collection. I’ve fallen for the ‘Leonie’ (see left) and so have treated myself to it – who could resist a V-neck bias cut diamond cut-out back nightgown in black satin, and a batwing sleeved black satin wrap robe with a tie sash and full skirt? The campaign has reached its target but is still going until lunch time today, so grab a set at ‘reward’ prices while you can!
4) Betty Blue’s Loungerie fleece ‘Bettie’ robe
I already own this beautiful retro wrap style puffed sleeve robe in the classic peach satin fabric, but cold weather and my single glazing meant that the gorgeous red polkadot fleece version also made it onto my wishlist. Sadly, I left it too long and it’s now sold out in my size (there’s only XS left in that style), so I think I’ll have to grab a powder blue Lucille robe instead for some superbly cozy glamour. The good news is that they’re both in the sale, so hurry and grab one before they all go.
5) B by Ted Baker nightwear at Debenhams
I spotted this pretty collection in the Leeds Debenhams last week and couldn’t make up my mind which piece I like the best. The navy bloom and the red rose print are lovely, the moleskin dressing gowns are super soft, but the navy jersey and lace pyjama top and bottoms get my vote for their combination of comfort and style.

@lipsticklori thanks for including us! Love the idea of a “cozy film star”!
I have the fluffy robe in size small and its fine – they are super flexible, you might actually be ok with an XS!
Ooh, thanks for the tip! 🙂
