The A-to-Z of Sex Toys: Intense

With the help of the lovely ladies at Lovehoney, I have begun to discover that there is a sex toy for every bit of fun you can think of, and a whole load more that you can’t. Each week I shall look at a different category of sex toys but, like my last A-to-Z, they won’t always be quite what you think. As you might imagine, all links are NSFW!

Some people can’t reach orgasm easily, others simply like a bit of extra ‘oomph’ once in a while. Either way, a toy with added intensity can always spark interest. When I did a quick search to see what I could find for this blog post which would provide intense sensations, I discovered a rather diverse collection of items. The bizarre looking Jimmyjane FORM 2 apparently provides “the kind of intensity normally reserved for mains powered sex toys”, which is a bold claim that perhaps justifies its whopping £120 price tag! It may feel good on the clitoris but I doubt it would it feel as good for the bank balance.

At less than half the price, the Lovehoney Mains Powered Deluxe Magic Wand – which I’ve reviewed on this site – delivers lots of power and can also be used to massage your shoulders after a bad day. For an even less expensive option, why not add some extra intensity to your existing toy (or partner!) with some ribbed and studded condoms from Durex and Mates?

For those of you with a penis, extra intensity during sex could be obtained via the use of a cock ring. You can try plain silicone or metal rings, but the intensity really comes when you add perineum stimulation, like with the Tantus Sling Ring, or vibrations from something like the wonderful Lelo Tor II – which I reviewed on Rarely Wears Lipstick earlier this year. If you’re flying solo and want a male masturbation toy which doesn’t look utterly repulsive or completely hilarious, take a look at the offerings from TENGA. They have some interestingly textured options, including the 3D spiral, which look like they deliver rather intense stimulation. If anyone has tried one of these bad boys out, do let me know as I’m very curious about how they feel to use.

You can get beaded anal toys that vibrate, mains powered toys which look like rather bizarre power tools, electrostimulation toys for intense experimentation, adjustable nipple clamps, and toys that stimulate g-spot and clitoris without having bloody rabbit ears. I’ve discovered during my brief period of research that most toys which offer an intense experience are rather odd to look at, but sometimes that’s half the fun. They may not all be for you, but there is most certainly one which has your name on it.
